Virgin Money starts four-week BETA trial of new home buying app

Home Buying Coach will help ‘Generation Rent’ onto the property ladder

The tool provides expert insights and creates a personalised plan for those looking to get on the property ladder

The app is part of Virgin Money’s wider digital transformation strategy which aims to leverage tech to give consumers maximum control and flexibility when it comes to managing their money

Home Buying Coach is launching in collaboration with Life Moments, a leading provider of platforms and tools to improve customer experience and generate data insight. The four-week trial will see thousands of customers invited to download the interactive tool which simplifies the home-buying process. Key features include:

  • A tool to calculate what each user can afford, over a range of buying timescales;
  • Generation of a personalised plan, timeline and saving goals for each user;
  • An in-app digital coach, which starts conversations, asks questions and delivers prompts to encourage the user into action.
  • Guidance on every step of the home buying process;
